The Fear Factor!

Dear FEAR, 

You no longer have a hold on me! 

Two years ago, God gave me a vision that involved empowering young women.  Afraid of being rejected, I allowed the paralyzing and debilitating emotion of fear to stop me from moving forward.  When fear crept in, the overwhelming floods of doubt immediately followed. "What if's" began to clamor my mind... "what if I fail? What if no one likes my vision?" The "what if's" were endless. 
 
What released me from this gripping emotion? Reading my Bible and daily meditating on this scripture: "God has not given me a spirit of fear but of power, LOVE, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7)."
 
I want to encourage you today: if God has given you a dream, a vision, or idea to produce, DO IT! Don't allow fear or the opinions of others stop you from reaching and fulfilling your God-given potential.
